SERVICES PROVIDED
Individual Psychotherapy
In individual counseling, we will work together to uncover what may be holding you back from living your fullest life. Through exploring your past and discussing your current experiences, we will develop creative solutions that lead to greater fulfillment. Individual therapy has the potential to enhance your mood, improve your relationships, and help you sustain lasting happiness.
Are you constantly getting into the same argument with your partner or spouse? Do you feel like no one is listing to you and you are saying the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN? Good news, this happens all the time and I am here to help you change those patterns and learn how to communicate better. I Practice from an IMAGO Couples Therapy Framework, where I invite you to slow down and learn to truly listen to one another. Through mirroring, validating, and empathizing with your partner's perspective, you will learn to understand what is getting in the way of helping your connection. I am here to help you explore the challenges you face, unravel the patterns that keep you stuck in the same song and dance, and help you discover effective ways to communicate better. My hope is that you will be able to strengthen your connection, feel heard and validated and learn to fall in love all over again.
Clinical Consultation and Supervision
In addition to my psychotherapy practice, I am passionate about teaching and supporting both non-licensed and licensed clinicians. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey that enhances our confidence to help our clients as effectively as possible. Through conversation and learning you will be able to explore how to support your clients in the best possible way.

My comprehensive approach allows me to partner with my clients on their unique healing journeys, addressing both their individual experiences and goals.

As an IMAGO-trained couples therapist, I integrates relational approaches in her practice. I believe in the power of helping couples slow down and listen to one another so they can reconnect and work through their challenges with one another.

Over the course of my career, I became a huge believe in the power of movement and expressive arts, becoming a Certified JourneyDance™ Facilitator in 2014. I had the wonderful opportunity to spend two weeks in the rainforest of Costa Rica, learning how to integrate, movement, dance and song to help people reconnect with their bodies and experience lasting change. Being able to incorporate expressive modalities into my individual and group work has allowed me the opportunity to to help clients reconnect with parts of themselves that have become lost and they may not always have the words to describe or even have access to,

In addition to bringing this into my private practice I provide JourneyDance™ to teenagers and young adults in residential treatment centers in Virginia. "With a deep passion for empowering clients, she guides individuals to rediscover the transformative power of movement. By reconnecting with their bodies, clients can unlock a sense of well-being and that may have been overlooked. Each session offers a unique opportunity to explore and nurture the forgotten parts of themselves, fostering a deeper connection to their own vitality."

Before establishing my private practice in Virginia in 2008, I worked in various clinical settings, including a special education school in Washington, DC; a residential treatment center in Montgomery County; and with the Fairfax County Public School System.
